Exhibit 6-3
Summary of Energy from Texas Water Resources
Exhibit 6-3 is an illustration of Texas with locations of 8 different water resources under three categories, Hydropower, Ocean, and Saline graident. The Hydropower category includes: Existing Sites (speckled mostly in the central portion of the state, with a few along the mexico border and some in the northern central area), Undeveloped Hydro (mostly from the central to eastern parts of the state, with one in the west), and Feasible Undeveloped Small Hydro and Low Power (these are speckled throughout the state, with more consentrations from central to the east). Under the Ocean category: Ocean thermal Gradients (an area in the center of the Gulf of Mexico) Tides (all along the coast) and Waves (all along the coast). Under Saline Graident category: Salinity Gradient Solar Pond (the west wing of the state) RED/PRO at fresh-saline interface (spots spread out along the coast)
